Position Title
Sustainable Supply Chain Coordinator, UC Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program (SAREP)

Bio

I received an M.S. in Community Development from UC Davis in 2023, with a thesis centered on the experiences of California-based Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farmers during the COVID-19 pandemic. I hold a dual degree B.A. in Sociology (Emergency & Environmental Management) and French Studies from the University of Delaware. In my current position with the UC Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program (SAREP), I specialize in food systems, values-based supply chains, and pathways to market for small-scale growers. My current work is grounded by a decade of experience that includes working for diversified farms and providing direct technical assistance to California-based farmers. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, cooking, recreating outdoors, and spending time with my family.

Who we are

We are a group of researchers looking at how to make agriculture and food systems more just and sustainable. We study the ways that political, economic, and social structures influence the resiliency and fairness of our food systems throughout the value chain from production to consumption. Our work has a particular emphasis on California and Latin America.
